Sockets Options
The Socket System is an advanced equipment enhancement mechanic that allows players to further customize and empower their gear beyond traditional upgrades. By inserting Seed Spheres into specially crafted Socket Items, adventurers can unlock powerful elemental bonuses, stat increases, and unique combat advantages.
Socket items and seed spheres can be obtained starting from Stage 3 onwards.
What are Socket Items?
Socket Items are specialized pieces of equipment that contain "open sockets" - special slots where Seed Spheres can be inserted to grant additional bonuses. Unlike regular equipment, socket items provide a dynamic enhancement system that can be reconfigured to suit different playstyles and combat scenarios.
Socket items come in various sets and weapon types, each designed for specific character classes and builds.

Socket Capacity
All equipment pieces support up to 3 sockets.
Socket items always spawn with at least one +Socket already available, ensuring you can immediately begin customizing your equipment.
Seed Spheres
Seed Spheres are the core components used to activate sockets. These spherical containers hold elemental seeds and come in three progressive tiers, each offering increased power levels.
Sphere Types

Each sphere type can be leveled up to a maximum within its range, with higher levels providing stronger bonuses from the contained elemental seed.
How to Obtain Seed Spheres
Socket Spheres
Socket Spheres can be acquired through in Kardamahal - the only map where all three levels of Socket Spheres drop from monsters.
All regular monsters in Kardamahal have a chance to drop spheres.

How to Insert Seed Spheres
Once you have both Socket Items and Seed Spheres, you need to visit the Seed Researcher NPC to insert spheres into your equipment.

Application Process
- Approach the Seed Researcher and open the socket interface
- Place your Socket Item in the designated slot
- Select the socket you wish to fill
- Choose the Seed Sphere you want to insert
- Confirm the Application

Seed Spheres can be removed and replaced, allowing you to reconfigure your equipment bonuses as needed. However, each time you insert or remove a sphere, bonus socket options (described below) will reroll.
